Modesto Junior College will host a Halloween Chemistry Show on Friday October 21st from 7-8:30pm. Tickets are available here.
In addition, Modesto Junior College and Stanislaus County have many interesting science events scheduled for this academic year. Please note that the MJC Great Valley Museum has just opened a new exhibit called Exploring Matter: An Interactive, Inexpensive Chemistry Exhibit for Museums. Rarely do museums include chemistry and the GVM is making an effort to increase the public understanding of chemistry. The exhibit was predominantly funded by an American Chemical Society Collaborative Opportunities Grant ($2000).
