Members of the UC Davis Chemistry Club try to recruit more members.

The Chemistry Club at UC Davis provides outreach shows and demonstrations to schools and community groups throughout the year. In addition, the Club has increased outreach to Chemistry students at UC Davis, including final exam review sessions, information and networking sessions, seminars, fundraising, and social activities. These activities have received positive feedback from students and we strive to continue reaching out to college students in addition to our shows. The Davis community will also be participating in the upcoming annual ACS Program-in-a-Box on February 24th.

The annual Picnic Day Chemistry “Magic Show” is on April 18, 2015. Our shows are at 10:30am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2pm. Tickets are first come first serve. This year the club is trying to have an additional interactive chemistry area where people can participate in hands-on chemistry activities throughout the day. If you are interested in helping to volunteer please notify the President at the email below.

Information and requests for chemistry demonstration shows for schools and other non-profit organizations can be submitted by emailing ucdchemclubpres@gmail.com.
