The 2018 Sacramento Regional Science Olympiad will be held at Mira Loma High School on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Four events are looking for coordinators for this year: FORENSICS, OPTICS, HERPETOLOGY and REMOTE SENSING. James Hill, our Sacramento Section High School Teacher of the year, is looking for a qualified, interested person who would be willing to be the Event Coordinator for each of these topics at the event. The Event Coordinator is responsible for preparing the event based upon the national guidelines, running the event and preparing all paperwork. Volunteers will be available to help with all duties.
The guidelines for the forensics event are here. Responsibilities for the other events are similar in scope. Division C is for high school students.
