Dr. Rachel Scholes investigates the occurrence, transformation, and removal of contaminants affecting the environment and human health. Her research includes optimizing the treatment of trace contaminants in water and wastewater, with a particular focus on nature-based systems. Dr. Scholes begins a faculty position at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Civil Engineering in July 2021. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
