ACS San Diego Hosting Virtual Talk “Learning to Fly as a Medical Device Start-up” April 20

Our friends at ACS San Diego are hosting a virtual presentation at 7 PM on April 20th, titled “Learning to Fly as a Medical Device Start-up”.

About the Talk: This talk will cover lessons learned since the idea of PyrAmes was hatched in 2015 to spin out of Stanford University with sensor technology from Prof. Zhenan Bao’s research on electronic skin.

About the Speaker: Xina Quan is the Co-founder & CEO of PyrAmes, a Silicon Valley-based startup. Over the past 40 years, Dr. Quan has led interdisciplinary teams that have transformed advanced materials research into innovative commercial products for photonics, telecommunications, optoelectronics, and consumer electronics applications.
