ACS Hosts Chemistry Olympiad Tryouts

This spring, the Sacramento section of the American Chemical Society hosted the annual regional Chemistry Olympiad tryouts. The first and second rounds took place in March and April at Sacramento City College. Over 80 students from many local high schools participated in the first round. After a rigorous written test the top ten scorers were selected to go on to round two, where they completed more written and practical exams.
