Ken Stoub has been a Senior Lead Assessor for the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in the Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Environmental, Environmental Lead, Chemical, Biological, Radiochemistry, Animal Drug Testing Fields, World Anti-Doping Association – Human Drug Testing, as well as for PT Provider and Reference Material Provider Accreditation since 1994. He holds an ISO 9000 Lead Auditor training certificate and a Trainer of Laboratory Assessors certificate from the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in Australia. He is Past-Chairman of the A2LA Criteria Council, and was on the A2LA Board of Directors for almost twenty years.
Mr. Stoub is also the Senior Trainer for A2LA on the subjects of ISO/IEC 17025:2005, Assessment of Laboratory Competence, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions, ISO 9001, Environmental Lead Analysis, Quality Management System Documentation, and Internal Auditing. This training has taken place primarily in North America, although Mr. Stoub has also provided training in Ireland, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Additionally he has provided training and accreditation consulting for the California Department of Food and Agriculture, the United States Department of Agriculture, the United States Food and Drug Administration, a number of State Departments of Agriculture, UC Davis’ School of Veterinary Medicine, the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians, and the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC).
He is President of Group Seven Laboratory Services who provides consulting services in the areas of analytical chemistry, laboratory training and assessments, quality management system standards training, data validation, productivity improvements, laboratory design/construction, strategic and business planning services.
