The Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board has an opening for an Environmental Scientist in the Freshwater and Estuarine Harmful Algal Blooms (FHAB) Program. This is a hybrid position located in Rancho Cordova, California. This position will focus on implementing the FHAB Program required by Assembly Bill (AB) 834 and will coordinate FHAB activities and efforts in the Central Valley region, implement the FHAB Monitoring Strategy recommended actions, coordinate with other state and regional FHAB leads to support science-based decision making, and develop decision support tools and assessment studies. The final date to apply is March 1, 2023.
