The Wild & Scenic Film Festival comes to the Sierra virtually for a second year in celebration of Earth Day: For the last 15 years the Sierra Nevada Alliance welcomed you to South Lake Tahoe for Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour. This year things are different, so we are bringing the festival to you! Join Sierra Nevada Alliance this Earth Day to watch Wild and Scenic Film Festival On Tour from the comfort and safety of your home LIVE on Earth Day, April 22, 2021 at 7:00pm.
The Wild and Scenic Film Festival On Tour combines award-winning environmental and adventure films with the energy of local activism. Each year, films are chosen so that you are inspired to take further action regarding issues that impact our environment, ourselves, and our world. Concerned citizens worldwide know the urgency of the many environmental crises facing our planet today, but most don’t know how they can contribute to the fight. This film festival provides an opportunity for attendees in the Sierra to support their own local advocates for the environment by attending Sierra Nevada Alliance’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour event. The festival is a natural extension of Sierra Nevada Alliance’s work to inspire people to act on behalf of the environment. All ticket sales support The Sierra Nevada Alliance, a 501(c)3 non profit which exists to elevate and support Sierra ecosystems and communities. All event proceeds will go towards protecting and restoring the Sierra Nevada.
