SACACS was happy to co-sponsor the 17th annual R. Bryan Miller Symposium held at UC Davis on March 16-17, 2017. This event brought together chemists from across northern California, many from the Sacramento region, to present their research in organic and biological chemistry. The Plenary Speaker, Dirk Trauner, discussed the field of Synthetic Photobiology, a field which he is largely responsible for establishing. Attendance at the event was at an all-time high, including the poster session sponsored by SACACS.
