California Sea Grant State Fellowship, Applications Now Open!

The California Sea Grant State Fellows Program provides a unique educational opportunity for recent graduate students who are interested in marine, coastal, and/or watershed resources and in the decisions affecting those resources in California.

This highly competitive program matches outstanding recent graduate students with hosts in state, federal, or municipal agencies in California for a 12-month paid fellowship. Fellows have the opportunity to apply their skills and expertise to real-world problems, while gaining hands-on experience in resource management and government.

Alumni of the program have gone on to successful careers in a variety of sectors, including consulting, private companies, government, science, and nonprofits.
