California Institute for Water Resources Hiring Project Policy Analyst 3

The California Institute for Water Resources is excited to announce a new position. We are hiring a Project Policy Analyst 3 who will be working at the UC Office of the President in Oakland.

This position serves as analyst for the California Institute for Water Resources. As an analyst, the individual will assist the Director by executing the Institute’s planning, management, and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities will include support for Institute programs, including program and project management, writing and website maintenance, program evaluation and impact, and support of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The individual will oversee development and management of select projects, reporting functions, and research and extension efforts.

The mission of the California Institute for Water Resources is to integrate California’s research, extension, and education programs to develop research-based solutions to water resource challenges. We do this by facilitating collaborative research and outreach on water issues across California’s academic institutions and with international, federal, state, regional, nonprofit, and campus communities.

This is a 3-year contract position at 100% time, with possibility of an extension pending funding.
