CA Department of Public Health’s Drinking Water and Radiation Laboratory in Richmond has an Analytical Chemist position in the Chemistry Unit. The Research Scientist II plans, organizes, and carries out scientific research studies of moderate scientific scope and complexity related to detecting and quantifying emerging organic chemical contaminants of public health concerns in drinking water, including routine analysis of samples and participating in proficiency testing exercises.
