About the Speaker: Mr. Nirmal Saini is the Branch Chief at the Center for Analytical Chemistry, California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA). He holds Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Masters in Biochemistry from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. Mr. Saini has been working for the State of California for more than 40 years, last ten years as a Branch Chief. He is a member of American Chemical Society (ACS), Association of Official Analytical Chemists International (AOACI), Criteria Council of American Association of Laboratory Accreditation, Association of American Pesticide Control Officials (AAPCO); and was a member of Expert Review Panel to look into the issues of ”Pesticides In Soft Drinks in India” (2006- 2007).
